In December 2011, NSMIT held their annual holiday banquet and staff awards presentation. Awards are presented to NSMIT staff in the following categories: Employee of the Year, Support Employee of the Year, Most Committed and Passionate, Most Innovative, Best Team Player, Best Initiative and Leadership, and Most Dependable and Responsible.
Awards were presented to each staff member by NSMIT Collage IT Manager, Salvador Baez-Franceschi, and College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics Dean, Dr. Mark Smith.
NSMIT is excited to announce some entirely new products and services, as well as new versions of some of our existing products and services, including MyNSM Share (new), MyNSM Store (new), the NSMIT Help Desk (new), MyNSM Wikis & Blogs (updated), and NSM Mail (updated).

Current NSMIT staff member, Jose Baez, and former NSMIT staff member, Dr. Chang Yun, mentored three finalist teams, two in Game Design - Windows and Xbox and one in Game Design - Windows Phone, in Microsoft's Imagine Cup 2012 US Competition.
